ast End Film Society (EEFS) is a social enterprise that supports the interest of filmmaking in East London. The primary objective of the EEFS is to facilitate the local filmmaker. EEFS has a vibrant pool of multi-cultural filmmaking talent and also offers a great opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals/groups working or starting out in film, from writers to directors to editors... and even actors.
Formed in 2004 by Duncan Isaac, EEFS now has over 700 members, including individuals and organisations from the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham and surrounding areas. There are not many ethnic minorities, women and disabled people employed in the UK film industry. EEFS has an equal opportunities policy in place which aims to nurture these unrepresented groups in this difficult industry.
Currently membership to the East End Film Society is FREE. To become a member click on subscribe. To email EEFS, click on contact us or telephone: 07947 210 974
